This past 4 weeks, we have seen:
115 appointments marked “Did Not Attend”
…equating to:
31 hours of clinical time (plus the administrative time taken to reschedule missed appointments)
8.6 hours of GP appointments
17.7 hours of Nursing appointments
4.7 hours of other clinicians, midwifery, clinical pharmacist, etc.
…which is an improvement (!) on figures from earlier in the year. We have made changes to our communications, to make it as easy as possible for patients to attend their booked appointments, and we hope patients continue to understand the importance of attending, or if not, cancelling.
