There are several local services offering free pregnancy advice, and termination if appropriate. Clients do not need a GP referral to access treatment at any of these providers and can make contact directly using the contact details below.
BPAS Leeds (Third Floor, 7 Eastgate, Leeds LS2 7LY) offers medical abortions to gestation period 10 weeks. BPAS Doncaster offer surgical abortion to 24 weeks.
BPAS also offer all forms of contraception, including long-acting reversible contraceptives. They also offer other sexual health services such as chlamydia, gonorrhoea and HIV testing.
Pre- and post-abortion counselling services are available for all clients.

MSI offers medical abortion (up to 10 weeks’ gestation) at clinics across Leeds and West Yorkshire and surgical abortion (up to 21 weeks and 6 days’ gestation) in Leeds.

MSI also offer a range of aftercare services to people who have had an abortion. MSI’s nurses are available for advice via a 24-hour before, during and aftercare line, which is open seven days a week. To access this service please call 0345 122 1441.
NUPAS have been providing termination of pregnancy services for over 40 years and have over twenty clinics nationally with overall “Good” CQC ratings consistently at all locations.
NUPAS provide early medical abortion services from Rutland Lodge Medical Centre, Scott Hall Road, Leeds, LS7 3DR.
Women can self-refer into the service by calling 0333 004 6666 (8.00 – 22.00, 7 days).
