On 20 May Government guidance was amended. Patients in cohorts 1-9 should now have an 8-week gap between first and second vaccinations. All other patients aged over 40, or under 40 who opt to have the AstraZeneca vaccine, should have a 12-week gap, as before.
Pregnant women are now advised to have the Covid vaccination as they become eligible. Invitations to this group will be based on age. It is recommended that pregnant women have Pfizer or Moderna vaccines which we do not currently have supply of. If you contact the surgery we may be able to book you in to another local clinic.
