Its Carers Week and this year’s theme is helping carers to feel recognised, valued and supported. We’ve been sharing useful information for and about carers on our Facebook page so please do take a look.
Many carers don’t see themselves as carers. In fact, it takes an average of two years for someone to acknowledge their role as a carer. There is a lot of support available for carers and we want people to be able to access this support before things become too difficult to manage.
